Default Need help with site regulations

I've looked and looked but can't find a reference to this PM I recieved from Strike. I would appreciate it if I can be pointed to the specific regulations concerning this.

You can find clauses in the following two places:

1) This is a link to our site rules and regulations:

https://www.s2ki.com/user/content/view/full/68/

Note that advertising is not permitted. Also note the last paragraph, quoted here for your convenience:

"S2000 International also reserves the right to prohibit or delete discussions that are thought to violate applicable law or that may be harmful to other members, the sites that comprise S2000 International, or the rights of S2000 International or others."

Linking to sites that may contain pornography or other content that would be deemed inappropriate here has never been allowed. Let's be serious. The only reason that site was started was because of limitations we impose on content here that you and other whores feel are too restrictive. Therefore, linking to it is also not allowed.

2) Here is a link to the registration agreement you agreed to when you signed up for the site:

https://www.s2ki.com/user/content/view/full/69/

Note this paragraph:

"Petersen Ventures LLC, its directors and appointed agents reserve the right to remove any content, post, or limit user access, that we deem unsuitable on this site for any reason."

The site you want to link to has been deemed unsuitable for this site. Therefore linking to it will not be allowed.

When a mod asks you to make a change, you just need to comply.

You can PM, me, c3 or hondagal if you want to appeal, but as noted by Strike. We can request you to remove content for any reason. You are expected to comply.

Just because there may or may not be a specific rule your case doesn't mean you don't have to comply with the moderators request.

complying isn't an issue here, obviously.

and what *is* the reason again? I haven't been given one.....

A cursory glance around the site I am able to find users who post regularly have links to other sites in their sigs, links that have been there for some time.... curious....

this is giving me the impression of selective enforcement, does Strike have something personal against me? I'm beginning to feel that way....

Wicky it is simple.

The site you want to link to has been deemed unsuitable for this site. Therefore linking to it will not be allowed.
It isn't anything personal. Links to that particular site are deemed inappropriate by the board's management and moderators.

Thanks for removing it from you sig.

yeah I don't see in there where it says I can't ask for a reason to be given... curious... why is it so hard to just get an answer to a straight forward question. Unless questions aren't allowed on s2ki now?

and yes I do feel it is personal, because Strike has edited my sig twice now, funny but I can find s2000.org in other peopls sigs without any trouble. they've been there, and are still there, and I've spent less than a couple minutes looking.

I really regret giving my money to people who can't even answer a customer's straight forward question without such difficulty.

Was the s2000.org link what was considered objectionable? I didn't see what was in your signature before being asked to change it.

in fact it's not difficult to find a *large* sig with a large picture linking to, of all things, another message board.... I'm surprised a 'site mod' hasn't run across such a large and obvious advertisement....

the first link was to duderick's site, as quoted in my first post. the second link to be edited was the s2000.org link, which was taken from another members sig. which still works. and he posts regularly.... again, Strike seems to spend a lot of time following me around and I rarely post outside the corner, yet folks who post across many more forums seem to go unnoticed. I'm a little disapointed in this approach.
