Rather than discuss this in public I've sent you a PM regarding this matter.

 

Let's make a deal.

Reinstate my access to Car Talk (I find it the most interesting portion of this site) and I will paypal/western union/snail mail money to the new member RENFRO for a membership to this site. RENFRO recently crashed his S2k on the first drive back after purchasing it. It is totaled. He mentioned even if it is totaled, he will still try to get another s2000. I have a feeling he would find a membership to s2ki useful (if not only to hock the parts he salvaged from the wrecked s2000).

I can't guarantee I won't annoy somebody on Car Talk again, that's just my nature...but I won't waltz into someone's new car thread again and make references to fecal matter or insult them.

If you don't reinstate, then RENFRO gets nothing and I wind up trolling until I get banned - sheerly out of spite and disgruntlement.

Up to s2ki. First scenario is a win-win situation.

Also, moderators should be more like Raj.

That way people aren't going to bitch and moan about it to us and we aren't going to have to spend our limited time on this planet telling you to not be a dick, duh.

I issue isn't you not being allowed to post in the car talk forum, it's you being a dick to people. Stop doing that and there will be no more problem.

As for your "promise", please refer to California Penal Code section 502 and govern yourself accordingly. You will be banned from using this site and the computers which run it and any attempt to access the site once you are banned is a felony in the state of California, where our computers are physically located; I promise.

As for being banned, I'm surprised you aren't already. It takes 3 clicks. HondaGal is being incredibly nice to you by not hitting you with a ban-hammer and instead choosing to curb your disruptive behavior. You should thank her for treating you gently as not everyone gets the same consideration. I have to advise you that you shouldn't push that too far as I don't think there is much slack left.
