I hate the new s2ki page format!

My apologies to the admin, but this new look is a bit drab, this car is exciting and so too should it's #1 website be. I agree with the earlier posts as well, the left column is wasted space, and some of the posts are getting cut off with no ability to scroll right or left, this will make things hard. Also, I have dialup and the site is no faster than before, if anything it's slower.

Having said that I just want you guys to know that I appreciate this site very much, and I'll get used to whatever format you desire to put it in. Keep in mind tho', this site is our baby , that's right, yours...mine...and everyone else's, you can't expect everyone to at the changes.

Lastly, I wish the post #'s and gears were back. When a newbie sees someone post something they have no idea (other than these 2 things and common logic) if weather or not the person knows what they are talking about. The gears and # of posts help in this matter a lot. I know when I visit other sites I pay more attention to the people that have the most posts, it's simple reason.

First, l want to say that I really appreciate the site and the effort that goes into it.

The photo gallery looks great and is easy to get around in.

It seems much easier to find stuff... and clicking on Clubs to get to the local is no big deal and easier if you are at the bottom of the list like Mid-West

Having to go to full screen is a major pain. I'd suggest horizontal arrows be added.

I have a feeling the column on the far left will soon fill with ads. Otherwise it's a waste of space.

If two colors are favored for separating the comments, etc., I'd suggest going with white and 'light' gray. I find the dark grays too dark, dull, and depressing.

What happened to all the material referencing TSB's?

Just tried to Preview Reply and it didn't work. And things are really slow.

Besides the right side of page cut off even in full screen 1024x768 mode the time is off. Easter time zone is 1 hour slow. I checked MyS2000 profile and it say I'm Eastern but time is still an hour off.

Moved this over to Site Info... that's really where it should be.
Comments about the site should always go in there.

Thanks.

Personally, I'm not crazy about the site, from what I've seen of it so far. This is the first time I've logged in since the big change. Maybe it'll grow on me...

Um OK, I'm not going to bitch and moan (although I'd like to) but will instead point out some serious usability issues.

1) The horrendous waste of space to the left...it's a blank column once I scroll down more than one screen. The miniscule amount of information at the top of that frame would be better placed at the top and maybe bottom of each page rather than at the left side.

2) The main message window cuts off on the right side. This is NOT a browser issue but a formatting issue on the page. I've tried it with different browsers and screen resolutions with the same result.

3) Colors. Dull.

4) The regional clubs should be on the same page as the rest of the forum. I spend a good deal of time flipping between many of them and the other forums, now it's ruined the "flow" of the site and made it so you have to click twice as much and jump through different pages...not really user friendly at all.

My God, I can't believe how SLOW this new site is. I have a 64k ISDN line and it's taking ages (30/40 secs+) to get some pages up (like placing/editing a post) sometimes taking more than one attempt and risking duplicate posts.

If this is a temporary glitch then, well, fine - evrything has teething problems; BUT if this is what the future holds for s2ki then as soon as I've finished organising the UK SuperMeet, you won't find me on here very often; I don't have the time. That would be a huge shame; it has been a great place to hang out

It's taken 4 minutes so far and this frickin' edit STILL hasn't gone!
