I was just thinking that maybe we should have a flood control for guests of say 5 post per day and each post must be 10 characters in length minimum.

That way we are not crowding the sight with meaningless posts that are nothing more than......

If someone really has something to say in an open forum perhaps this will encourage them to purchase a regular memebership

I also think that a guest should only allowed to be a guest for a maximum time period.....say one year.

I agree too. The 'price of admission' is NOT that steep. If you want to play indefinately you need to pay.

 

I personally would like to have Flood Control turned off for Sponsors. There are times when I am updating a number of threads and I have to wait. It is just a time killer and I must see it atleast once a day.

If they need to save bandwith, they can start by closing The Corner. That's the most useless waste of bandwith I have ever seen. 60+ page threads with nothing but smileys and BS..

1346237 replies in that section, that's twice as many as S2000 Talk!!

 

It begs the question "do you really want all that going on in the rest of the forums?"

 

The mods would make sure it doesn't. (I would hope)

I mean seriously, that section serves absolutely no purpose other than post whoring and trying to get PPD average up. It's worthless and takes up A LOT of bandwith.
