I think we really do need a more advanced search engine like most other forums that allows us to choose the forum we want to search in, the date, ascending/descending order, etc...

I think this would seriously help limit the number of pointless posts, members would have a much easier time finding previously answered questions and it would just be much more convenient.

Any thoughts? Is this possible in the near future?

Keep in mind, you can use the "search this forum" at the bottom of each page which will limit the searches to the current forum you are looking at.

The search here kind of sucks, but it is decent if you use the bottom of the forum search. However, that one's been down for a couple of days.
