The Library seems stagnant. There have been a bunch of great "how to" posts over the last year or so that would be great additions to the library. Cthree's how to on brake pad installation currently noted in the UTH forum is a great example, as well as anything Xviper has written. So what is the process of getting these valuable documents added to the library before they fade away into the far corners of the vast database that is S2KI?

Well, unfortunately, nothing is being done with the library at present. What we really need is for some kind soul or two to step forward and help by adding the things you mention in there. We have a really good system for managing content the problem has been the labor involved in transferring valueable information in the forums to articles in the library where they can be more easily organized and viewed.

The work involved is mainly a copy and paste job from the forums to the article with some editing work to update the article with information clarified or expanded within the thread or threads related to the topic.

I made an appeal some time ago for help but it never really got going. If there were 2-3 people working on it doing say 1 article each a week then we could make a big dent.

Any volunteers? There are a few people I know would help but they are already heavily loaded with other duties. We would greatly appreciate any help that is offered in this regard.

I'll happily volunteer, if you are still looking for somebody that is.

cthree, I can do some work on this if you need another person. I have some experience creating documentation for work processes in my company, so I think I could do an acceptable job.

Let me know if you need me. Thanks.
