I've been thinking of proposing this for a long time! The idea is taken from previous forum site ESATO and I used to be very active as I do here!

If you notice in their Home Page there is a column called "Discussion Forum" with the latest posts/threads linked there showing number of posts on each thread. I believe that this is a great feature for members and guest to be included to the S2KI Home page as well!
Please note that every time a post is created the link jumps on top of the list! Try to refresh ESATO page for a while and you will see how it works.

The new section could be divided to S2KI Home Page as follows:

General Interest
Special Interest
Marketplace
Off-Topic
Meets and Events
International Communities
North America East
North America Central
North America West

I believe that it will be a great feature!

 

I've also suggested that each article has a thread dedicated to it and linked to it, like the news items at www.pistonheads.com

 

Good suggestion. I'll look into it when I take another pass at the home section.

 

Thats cool cthree! I think it will be very handy for everyone! This feature is refreshing automatically every time a reply is created. Therefore I just click the refresh button and immediately I get the last replies and links on the screen without even loggin on...

Of course am constantly logged in to S2KI.
