Default Limit picture sizes?

The pictures in the UK for sale forum are huge.

This one for example:

I'm not sure how they were uploaded, but opening the thread is hard work on my slow work computer with terrible internet.

Is there not an auto resizer?

The show fine on my system with a note on top of each that they're resized.

I to hate the tiny photos that expand to 5x the screen size when I click on them like these do!

If they are linked as a massive file, yes, they'll take time to load, but once loaded they will auto resize to a smaller image. It auto-reduces for me to 30% of the original on these images, for example.

The images in the above link are hosted on a separate site so the OP uploaded them there as big files.
