After reviewing my options for membership (New Years Resolution) I have a few question about the differances in levels.

The Gold Membership:
S2ki.com e-mail address? When to be released? In june it was soon.
Personal Web page/profile? When to be released? In june it was soon.

These points seam like the main differances. If I missed anything else, please reply. Also I found differance in the "Announcement" and the S2ki store items.

So in short I am trying to deside between levels and since most of the key differance have yet to be release it makes the choice harder.

Mail has been out for a month or so. I don't know about the other one.

 

Although most people want something for their money, and the more money, the more bennies, a few people contributed even more than "gold" membership $$ to help support s2ki.com. There was a request for funds a while back, and many options discussed. The three current levels were decided upon after many of s2ki's users were offering donation $$ with no strings attached other than keeping s2ki.com operating. There are some added benefits for "members" and more for "gold members," but I feel a lot of "us" have contributed based on our free 'loose change" and our desires to see s2ki.com grow and get better. The level of support is yours to choose, and if you can't afford to pay, you get the same level of information sharing as a paying member.

Personally, I had several e-mail addys already, pay blue domino for personal web-hosting, and haven't purchased much from the s2ki store--I already had alternatives or no need for most of the advertised "gold" benefits. At the time I joined, I paid what I felt I could afford, based on the amount of good S2000 information I had been getting from this board. I didn't want to see it go under for financial reasons. I'm happy that enough people responded, so the "system" could be upgraded to its current level, and I look forward to the future improvements.
