Default Membership Renewal

Hello, I'm a Gold Member in good standing, but my membership expires on Nov. 2nd. Is there a way to renew without letting this membership expire? The "Purchase Membership" offers no way for me to purchase a membership. It says:

Details of the membership that you are currently subscribed to.
ID Details Start Date End Date Paid Status
[edit] Gold Membership 3-November 03 2-November 04 50.00 Paid

When I signed up it was easy. Am I missing something here? How do I give you guys money?

So, what your saying is that when our prior membership expires the only option is to buy another one. But, technically we are still renewing and all are prior information is saved and transferred over. This is until you guys make a "renew" option?

Just for clarification. This is my old info:

ID Details Start Date End Date Paid Status
106710XXXX Gold Membership 25-October 03 24-October 04 50.00 Expired

NEW INFO:

Your Current Membership
Details of the membership that you are currently subscribed to.

ID Details Start Date End Date Paid Status
211119XXXX Gold Membership 25-October 04 25-October 05 50.00 Paid

The ID numbers will always be different, they track the payments. When we implement the renew function, it will probably be nothing more than a regular purchase that goes into effect when the current membership expires. Of course if you are upgrading, you will be able to choose if you want the upgraded membership to take effect immediately or once the current one is expired. Hope that makes sense!

I just figured out my membership expired 4 days ago (duh). I've already renewed. I was just wondering when my status would go back to "member."

BTW--absolutely no rush. I know you guys have more important things to work on. I was just curious.

Thanks for all the hard work.

Edit: D'oh! Nevermind. It just changed. That was fast!
