not really non of the stuff ever bothered me i don't know why they shut it down really

 

maybe they shoould have banned the offenders not the whole forum. oh well. but i am glad someone stepped in and tried to put am end to all the bickering. It was getting old.

 

this is true because there was paying members that have gotten banned for no reason.

some ppl where fighting I guess about politics and some other things, I am not completely sure as i missed it. but it is supposed to come back thursday from the rumors

 

no one got banned - things got out of hand and some of us lost the true meaning of the forum / community .

the admin thought it was best to call a time out before things got really out of hand. i trust if and when, the next time it happens people will be banned -

 

well i am banned from useing the new england section.... and i had no part nor do i know what happened. that is kinda what i meant. and other ppl did too from what i read in ny fourm and here. i think the ppl involved should have been banned for week, not the whole section, that is like punishing the whole class because some kids in the back got into a fight.

 

yup, I'm with you. Not sure why the rest of us have to be punished for a small few that can't stop bitchin' at one another, or whatever the reason may have been.....then again, that's one of the main reasons I stopped being a member.

 

I will prob not update or upgrade my membership again, I feel the site did the wrong thing on this matter, the community as a whole got punished for something a few did, makes no sense. whoever deciced this took the easy way out imo

I PM'd one of the higher ups on the matter, and they said it was a better idea to close it then just punish the ones responsible as it wouldn't solve anything.

All I see is it pissing off the innocent parties, resulting in even more bitching when it reopens and less membership renewals. The ones that caused the problems and didn't care in the first place are going to be the same way when it's put back up!

The only people who are going to change from this are the members who weren't causing any problems but are now angry about it.
