Default New FS Post Requirements

I understand the need for the new requirements, they all make lots of sense. What would make even more sense is to add more form fields so that everything is uniform and looks better...You already have Topic Prefix, Topic Title and Topic Description, just add the few more to meet the new requirements.

Thanks!

Before deleting a FS post, the right thing to do is first warn the original thread owner, and then copy and past contents into a PM for the owner so they can at least easily recreate it with the format. Just randomly deleting threads is very poor practice. Seems like this forum is going downhill in some ways by this newer bread of moderators.

josserman has valid points. It can take a considerable amount of time and effort to properly format a FS post and host images for that post. To just delete that post seems kinda overkill and infuriates the Member. We do pay to be here...... maybe a little leeway?????

With all the "stickies" on the main FS forum page it's hard to see what's new and important.

The software blows and needs to be updated to accommodate these changes.

Maybe for fun I'll start bumping 6 year old FS posts, you know, just for fun and to keep Sam and Manga busy....

We don't randomly delete FS posts. The only time it gets deleted is when we are ignored after making a request.

We are locking threads as that gets the OP's attention much quicker.

That won't end well for either of you

Believe it or not, we're trying to make this easier for everyone, not make more work for us. Shocking, I know.

Curious how this is easier for everyone? Five yrs ago I didn't have any issues posting items for sale or finding items that I was looking for.
