My apologies for any confusion if you couldn't find the "Pictures & Albums" link in your User CP. It should now be visible to all of you along your User CP's left-hand menu (the third option under the "Networking" heading).

Please make sure you've checked the box for "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default" in your User CP's Edit Options page. This will ensure your sent PMs appear in the Sent Messages folder.

You can still view all your active subscriptions via your User CP's View Subscriptions page. You can actually now sort them into folders as well, should you want to organize them beyond a catch-all list.

 

No photo album - This is where I keep all my S2k photos

What benefit is my membership getting me now that these are removed?

 

You should still be able to access your existing photos and add new ones by clicking the "Picture & Albums" link on the left side of your User CP. All these photos will continue to exist as we migrate to our new gallery as long as your albums are set for 'public' viewing. We're looking into alternative status update options as well. Beyond that, all the privileges of membership are unchanged. Membership still gives you exclusive perks such as access to our marketplace, member-only forums, a larger PM inbox, and fewer ads.

 

Any way to change/prolong the session expiration? Seems to be a bit short and having to re-login every few hours gets old fast

Also, why not simplify the home page to something like this? Who cares about total posts or threads, and no-one reads the forum description anyway.

 

The session limit is in place as a security measure. However, if you click the "Remember Me?" check box when you next log in, it opts you in to stay logged in past the time limit.

Thanks for the layout suggestion as well. While a lot of frequent forum members know each section well, some of the newer members may not, so we like to show additional information for their benefit when screen size allows it.
