Been past two weeks since i registered . still do no have full access to the forum including private messaging. Its impossible for me to reply or send any private messages.

 

Think you have to have a number of post before you get full access

 

i read in the faqs section that there was a 2 week period after registration , i contacted the forum through contact link and i think they fixed it.

 

This website is a shitshow. First I can't post from my laptop, now I have to refresh the page multiple time on my mobile device before it will let me type anything. Then after a sentence or two, the text box goes blank. Switched to full mode and I had to reload this page 3 times before I could type anything. It really is sad, I have been using this site for close to a decade and it is getting harder and harder for me to come here due to these ridiculous glitches and constant bombardment of spam.

Sorry for the confusion around stars, everyone. We have four different "tiers" of stars set up. When you hit your three-year anniversary, you're given three stars. This then becomes five stars on your fifth anniversary, ten on your tenth, and fifteen on your fifteenth. Due to limitations with the forum software, we unfortunately couldn't quite replicate the yearly increases that previously existed, so we instead went with those four milestones. Some of you had an extra three stars on your account, but this was done in error and a fix is rolling out now. Your star count should auto-adjust to the correct tier over the next couple days.

My apologies for the problems you've encountered. We're looking into the Microsoft Edge issue you previously mentioned. While we do so, have you had a chance to try visiting the site in Chrome or Firefox from your laptop?

Regarding mobile, I'm happy to look into this for you as well. Please let me know if you're visiting on an iOS or Android device, as well as the browser you're using on that device (Safari, Chrome, etc.).

Regarding PMs, you should be able to reply to any PM you receive using either the "Reply" or "Reply All" button in the bottom-right corner of the message. "Reply" will send a response to the specific author of the PM you received, while "Reply all" will send a response to anyone who is included in the message's "To" line. If you're still having trouble, please let me know what happens when you try to reply. Do you receive an error message of any sort?

 

I, it seems, like many others, use this forum less and less since it got screwed up.

I'm still being redirected to a "contest" site. Happens at least once every time I visit this site

 

I am using safari on mobile (iOS). Downloaded google chrome on the laptop and it still doesn't work. My phone seems to wig out when I try to quote a post. I then get locked out of posting until I get hit with that annoying pop up, then I can post again. This has happeI am getting advertisements in the reply box on both the full site version on mobile and with google chrome on my laptop.
