My apologies for the pop-up, jeallen. We're working with our ad partners to block these types of rogue ads, but they're proving to be a particularly tricky problem across the web as a whole right now because "bad" advertisers have figured out new ways to exploit legitimate ad slots. So much so that multiple publications are now covering it, including this Wired article and this Vox blog post.

We're experimenting with a few different ways to block these pop-ups, and hope to have it resolved soon.

Trying to make a table that "sticks". Monospace font doesn't work, all consecutive spaces get eaten. The [ code ] tag seems to work at first (but *only* in Advanced editing mode); but then if you ever go back and edit the post, all of the spacing within the code is lost and has to be re-created. In fact, if you even *preview* the post before submitting, all of the spacing is lost!

What we need is a tab character; or, better yet, the BB [table] tag as shown here: https://www.bbcode.org/examples/?id=14.

Thanks for the feedback, twohoos. As of right now, our forum software doesn't support the BBCode for tables, but I've passed along the suggestion to our tech team and we're looking into adding it in a future update.

I can no longer post from Safari on macOS 10.3.3 or on latest versions of iOS.

The actual reply fields are just gone so no reply can be typed. Same issue when creating a new post.

Verify that you're logged in. I've had that happen when I just go to the site and don't log in.

Pop up redirects get worse by the day. This is the only site I have this issue on. The other 3 automotive forums I go on have never done it. No other sites either. I was trying to answer a question someone posted today. Two tries, both redirects. Honestly surprised I have gotten through this post.

Same issue here, excpet that I have an iphone and i can't post a reply to a thread on my phone

Sorry you're running into Safari posting issues. We're having a little trouble replicating the issue on our end. Can you please let me know what version of iOS and/or macOS you're each running? If you're on macOS, please also pass along the specific version of Safari you're using (accessible via the "About" option). If you have any blockers installed or javascript disabled, please make note of that too.

We're working to resolve these rogue ads as quickly as possible. Are you specifically seeing them on an iPhone or an Android device?

I am getting bad pop up issues on my iPhone using safari. It keeps diverting me to some fake amazon page. Super annoying. It does it 50% of the time I open a thread. It did it as I typed this.
