I had placed an item for sale which was a sub box and had talked a friend of mine into making a few of these at a very low price. My for sale ad was deleted by a moderator. The reasoning behind is that either myself or the person making the boxes would make a margin.....

Now, I KNOW I am not making a margin but I am sure my friend is as he will probably spend 5-6 hours making each box.....wouldn't he be entitled to charge a certain amount?????

Day after day I see people placing ads on this section and OF COURSE they will make a margin....they are not going to sell their stuff for free. I would understand if this would come in direct conflict/competiton with sponsors but this would not be the case.

I simply ran accross a great deal and I wanted to pass it along to all the S2000 owners/members on board. If that is an issue then EVERYONE here needs to be aware of that. I am not here to start a business or to take away sales from anyone. I just simply wanted to pass on the news to other people.

Needless to say this is the last time I will be doing this as it seems it is more than a hassle to do so.

Anyway, my 2 cents.....this is a great place to be at but I did not know someone would feel offended by this

I wished Strike or another moderator would have asked me about it first.

It is too much work for me having to go back and forth taking pics of the car box and subs, air space, blah blah blah....NO, I am not making a profit, I was just sharing my lucky find. I have closed the thread myself. If I have to go to my car everyday and take different photos and measure different things and explain 20 different things then I WOULD have to make a profit which was not and it is still not my intention.

Whew...in other words, let the sponsors sell the stuff and let us pay for it. Sorry guys.
