Default no more deleting your own posts.

is anyone else having trouble deleting their posts? this has been happening to me for about a week now. i delete my bumps and stuff from my for sale and wanted threads to make them look cleaner. whenver i try, i get this screen:


can anyone help me?

yeah, I'm getting the same thing. I'm kinda bummed. I thought maybe that becoming a paying member would allow me to delete my posts, but nope.

site owners, pls. give us this ability back. I like to be able to delete my posts.

So it's not just the first post of the thread you can't delete anymore, it's all the posts no matter where it is? Funny.


edit: Okay, I just tried it out, doesn't work for me either. Just to let you know

The only thing I found that works is to "edit" the post down to a single . , then all that will be left of the post is the dot.

Only joking. I cannot delete them either, I did delete one last week but had not tried since.

There recently was a mistake in a piece of code that temporarly gave users the abilty to delete posts. When the bug was discovered it was fixed.

Users have not "offically" had the abilty to delete thier posts for many years.

I hope we're given that unofficial function back though. it'd be nice if people can clean up their posts when they personally feel it adds more clutter than content.
