Default Notification e-mails not being sent??

Greetings

I have not received any e-mails for the PMs I have received in the last few days. Also no thread update e-mails either. Has something changed, or broken?

Also the site has been very slow lately. Tonight, right now (see time stamp)

Thanks

Looks like you have a firewall blocking us.

Please talk to your ISP ev1servers.net

Thanks,

What IP address(es) or range would they see hitting their firewall? Figures they would be the problem.

I submited a trouble ticket, and they opened the port back up. Here is their reply.

Dear Customer,

That IP was blocked for portscanning. Please make sure you have not been hacked. I have had the NOC unblock it.

Have a nice day,

EV1Servers Tech Support.

ha! thats so unlikely. I can just about garentee there was no port scanning. There's no way someone would have done that. Maybe it was from some other IP and they blocked a large block.

I call BS on that answer, but I'm glad its fixed.

Agreed. I am pushing for more details. Like you have the time to port scan.

Thanks for your help, as I would have never figured it out without your help.
