Is there a way to subscribe to a topic and NOT get email notifications?? My email is filling up

I'd like to have my topics of interest on "my s2k" page but I don't want email notifications when someone posts. Weird thing is it doesn't seem to send them for every post...??

Click the 'Edit' button on one of your previous posts you want to edit.

Check or un-check the 'Add the Edit byline in this post?' checkbox just above the 'Submit' button.
- I do not see that option...
