I am new here and in the first couple days have noticed some nice people that help other newbies or even fellas that have been around on their questions, however, I notice people posting pretty sarcastically. Example in group buys, a fella put an S2000 up for sale, maybe it was a little high, but then again he did say obo, now people are responding with wtf you smoking? Also another example: someone will ask a question and a few people will post "do a search". This is a good web site that the lucky and proud owners of s2000's can go to for advice, but why be rude? Somebody may post a stupid question or one that has been answered many times but obviously their asking for a reason. If you want to help him you can answer the post but I don't see a reason for the negative remarks. Everyone is new to the site at one time or another.

Most people on this site feel the same way you do. You'll find that it is only the occasional sarcastic remark or the sarcasm coming from certain individuals. It certainly doesn't reflect the users on this site as a whole.

(Edit) I just saw the post you were referencing about what someone was smoking. Anytime someone posts a for sale that is way overpriced people get very defensive here because they do not want any one on this site getting ripped on a deal. In that case since MSRP is 32700 and he was selling his almost new car for 34k+, people jumped on him. ALthough he did say or best offer, people will jump on that everytime. Just trying to protect the people on this site from overpaying on anything.

I understand, but it does depend on where you live, in Jax, 2 dealers will not budge from the 4k adendum, but another sold me my blue at sticker, a friend of mine in Ca., bought his the next weekend for sticker on the silver one but the dealer wanted 4k over for the blue one...
But I do understand your point. But maybe he was ripped off thinking that it was still worth that much. Oh well, time to get over it and move on to the next thread....

In reference to that thread, we have always had a policy of not allow Honda Dealers to sell any cars for over MSRP on this site. This policy should be enforced to private owners as well.
