I get that too. Don't access your gallery that way (assuming your just clicking on the Gallery tab @ the top of the page). Click on your profile & use the drop down box & select My Gallery.

I'm having problems with adding pictures to my gallery its saying a need a parent album, I try to delete an old picture says something about an parent album. I delete the whole album it says I cant start a new album because I dont have a parent album. I dunno what the hell a parent album is. I also have problems clicking the gallery icon at the top of the main page is says I'm not a member but I am??

I'm having this same "parent album" issue.
Vadster has tried a few things to get it work and hasn't come up with anything yet.
