cthree, same issue for me. I've never used the gallery before, and when trying to create my first, the pop-up window wants me to select a parent album but the drop down is empty.

Sounds like you're aware of this though, the solution above would work fine me (dummy parent called My Photos or something)

Thanks

Hmm, I'm going to contact the help desk and find out what is supposed to happen before I go an implement something widespread.

I'll get back in a day or so with an answer to why people aren't getting a root album to put their stuff in.

Sounds good. Subscribing so I know what to do when the solution to this problem is ID'd.

Got this message when clicking on to my Gallery - everything else seems to work okay.

Has this technical issue been resolved for other members? Because I'm still having the problem and cannot create an album. Is there a specific person to contact to help me set this up in my account? thank you.

Used Gallery for the first time today. I was able to make a parent and child album, but was not able to upload pics with the advanced uploader. Clicked the link to the basic uploader and it works find now. Uploaded my hardtop sale pics pretty good.

What happened with the flash uploader? It's what I use and it worked the last time I used it. Do you have some setting that might make it non-functional (ie security suite) or did it look like a problem with the site?

Glad you were able to make use of it.
