on the top right it says i have one PM, but i don't have any new ones and it won't go away.can anyone help me fix this.

Check your sent PMs folder

 

I have no PM's in either folder...I erased them all hoping it'll solve the problem but with no luck.

 

Check your other PM folders

 

nothing...

 

It might be from someone you have on your ignore list?

 

I don't have anyone on ignore.

 

Did you check that for sure? If you can't get this fixed IM me on AIM or msn and we will see if we can sort it.

 

OK think i found the issue

The system thinks you have a PM from s2k_fiend (he must have sent you one) s2k_fiend was deleted on 2nd February - which is strange as we don't usually delete accounts all together. When deleted his/her PM's and posts will have disappeared, but the system is still counting that you have a PM.

The only way to fix it is either to do a re-sync (I will look if i can do that now) to fix the counter, or cthree needs to fiddle in the db.

 

I can't do anything - cthree needs to fiddle to fix this.
