Default Poor website performance

Same problem we had 18 months ago, I bowed out of the club for a while when I sold my first S2k but shamed to see that after 18 months the site is still dog-slow often having to refresh pages multiple times to read/post to a thread.

Is anything being done? (I had to refresh this form 3 times before I could post this) :/

(Its not my PC, same happens on my work laptop/connection as my home with different connections and browsers. Other sites are fine just some inherent problem with S2ki no one seems to want to fix. )

This is the 1st report in quite some time. I access the site from multiple locations without issue via pc, iPad, iPhone without issue. What times are your trying to access the site?

Happens on and off all the time really. Its rare for it ever to respond quickly for long.

It's totally inconsistant though, and it's exactly the same as the original faults reported here when you guys switched to this new forum software.

I don't have these issues on any other websites. Also, at work I use a totally different ISP/browser/OS/laptop and get the same symptoms, so not sure how it's my end?

Forum software hasn't changed since 2010. The amount of users vs reported incidents like this don't indicate the issue is with forum software.

After a bit of playing, it's a lot quicker if I disable the 9(!) tracking cookies (and their associated unnecessary JS) used on the forum.. :/
