I received a private message today. Twice I replied to it. Yet there is no record either went through. Is there an issue?

 

Dave, check your sent folder, there's a drop down menu and it defaults to inbox. Sent messages are kept in a separate folder now.

 

I recently signed up on this forum, how long is the 'trial period' for new users?

Sam, I did. Both times. That's why a 2nd reply and made sure I sent it properly.

 

Oh. And they don't show in the sent folder I'm guessing, definitely something off then.

Check under your user CP to make sure it's set correctly. Left side under Settings & Options click 'Edit Options', scroll down to the private messaging section and make sure the box is checked next to "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default".

 

That should do it. Thanks Sam. I've no idea how that got unchecked because its always worked in the past. So I quess my replies did go through - good to know.
