Apparently you're only allowed 500 PM's since the update so I emptied my inbox completely but it's still saying it's full! Asked a member to PM me but he got an error saying my inbox was full.

Do I need to change a setting or is something wrong with it?

have you cleared out the bin / sent items too?

 

Has your membership lapsed?

 

The numbering seems to relate to threads so if you have both in box messages and sent items on the same thread, it doesn't delete it as a message.

Change from In Box to Sent Items and delete a few to see if it reduces the message count. Worked for me but I'm still on 1750 messages?!

 

Thanks Graham, 517 messages in the sent folder. Cleared and now able to receive messages again.
