Removing the pictures I own from this site
I would like to remove the pictures which are my copyright from this site. How can I do this?
It was easy to add them from various sources, but now to comply with the site organisers latest edict i need to be able to move them out. What facility is available to me?

ei, if you look really carefully you will see no gold stars below my handle now. that indicates I did not renew. my reason being, when I paid up $100 way back when it was because krazik was running the site in his own time and at his own cost. I (and many others) freely and without coercion paid up.
there was no deal at the time for annual renewal - it was invented a few months ago, with no discussion or explanation - it was imposed. just like this latest edict.
I object.
but I have no voice. and would not have, even if I renewed. so I won't.
this site is being turned into a commercial venture from being a loose friendly open community. some are benefiting and no doubt profiting.
if you cannot see this then fine. if you can see, then speak.
now please let others see this thread and react.
if you got any Qs then PM me. but at least see what is happening. Tonky does.

Seems like they just want to make sure only paid up members can use the photo album facility. Doesn't sound an unreasonable idea as they all take up space I suppose, which costs money?
They're giving warning that this will happen on November 1st. It would be better is non members were still be able to delete their photos if required, but I'm sure the mods will happily clear out albums if asked after the 1st November deadline.
Note to self: membership expires in 3 days, must cram as many photos as possible taken with my 5M pixel camera into my album
edit: can see your point there Rog, not happy with some of the censorship and p.c. stuff of recent months myself
