Scammer from FS boards
The thread was moved by a moderator for an unknown reason (yet) but has been moved back. Please BEWARE, this guy is a FULL ON SCAMMER, the worst we have seen to date.
His "Gold Membership" was purchased with a fraudulent/stolen credit card and charged back by the card holder. I sent him a PM when the chargeback came through initially and he responded that he would take care of it. He did not.
We don't know his real name or address because he used so many different ones, never the same one twice. Be vigilant, he may return under another name.
This is not a flake or punk, this guy is the real deal criminal fraudster. It sounds like most people have avoided being burned which is great.

Reading thru his posts since he joined, it seems that he has spent his whole time since april trying to buy stuff. I bet this is bigger then just what we see in this thread.
I hope you guys nail him to the wall. Best of luck!

Nice its back up, also one more thing to add. When I spoke to him on the phone he did sound young 16 or 17 maybe, also almost everytime I spoke to him he sounded like a different person. I dont think he's alone on this fellas. He already have been associated with 4 diff address and 5 different names I think but for sure when he called me from the 915-2406411 number the it came out as Michael F. Jones.
A local site I post on fairly often has what's called a "trade rating". Right under a member's username is a number that is linked to a buy/sell "profile" page similar to eBay. Before you buy from anybody, you can click a members trade rating and get a detailed, unfiltered, report of comments by other buyer/seller to that member. It's very simple to use and works great. I quickly weeds out the shady guys from the good businessmen.
Just a thought.

Open to abuse that is Flite - been discussed before, it is half a solution

However, when all the comments in your trade rating can be traced to the person that left them, it becomes a little easier to get a history on someone.
There's pros and cons to anything I think. But in dealing with the high prices we deal with on some S2000 parts, it would be nice to be able to get a little bit of a grasp on someone's history before I send them thousands of dollars.
