Default Search

For a period now, every time I try to narrow a search by date; it returns zero results.

Thanks

And sorting by date doesn't work either...for a few weeks now.

FWIW, I didn't think there was any problem with search before.

It has been broken for about a week but I have an update today that resolves it. The format of how dates were handled changed from an integer (timestamp) to a datetime value. The search app was still treating dates as integers and not dates so it wasn't functioning correctly.

Today's update in a couple of hours should fix that.

Not sure if you got around to the update, but the sort still isn't working

I got to it but it didn't work so I have to fix it it again. Just then I found out that all of the memberships from the past week and a half were not getting recorded and I had to go fix that. Just then I found out the mail server was hacked and was spouting spam and so I had to go stop that and make a new mail server.

It's a slow week

I got all of the missing memberships back in the box and as soon as I get a new mail server online, which will hopefully be tomorrow sometime, I will get back on to fixing my fix for the search date range and sorting problem.*

* unless some other higher priority crisis kicks me in the ass before then.

Still trying to get a new email server built and running. Very complicated with lots of moving parts.

the search on s2ki is weak.
i'd suggest an archived/recent option and it should only have the thread listed, not every post from every relevant thread.

something like vwvortex, even honda-tech would be better. aside from that the site layout is great!
