I keep seeing reports of sighting sections. I thought they might be more suited in the meets and event (but not really), the local clubs (not in all areas). So, I figure it be best to create a Sightings section. Good idea? no?

 

Just MO, I don't think we have enuf sightings to dedicate a specific forum for sighting...

 

I really like this idea. I see S2Ks in my area from time to time but wonder if it's appopriate to begin an entire thread just to learn the identity of it's owner.

 

Who would go to the forum? Person A sees person B driving around town. Person A goes to this forum because they want to know who person B is. Make sense, sure. However, why would person B be monitoring this forum? Seems the only posts in this forum would be "Hey, I just saw a cool silver/red in Seattle. Was that you?". I can't see myself checking this forum every day to see if someone spotted me and wants to know who I am.

 

I agree with ScottB. It's only useful if you actually know that you were spotted. I think we need an S2K Fan section to house all of your 3 word posts.
