I haven't been able to leave the house for 2 weeks because when I did the site would crash and go offline. It's not ideal right now but it's better than nothing and at least it shouldn't be crashing anymore and I won't need to take the site down anymore to affect repairs.

It's all done and over and I know it has been frustrating especially for paying members and sponsors but it was necessary and we can put it behind us. We are now well able to service the needs of members for at least a year with what we have and can expand that capacity without any significant disruptions in the future.

It's very hard to change systems that so many people use so much but if we didn't do something it would have completely come off the track pretty soon. We had only about a month or two left before the whole thing melted down. We've headed that off and are set for some time to come.

New problem - I'm getting email notices to subscribed posts, but when I go to the post, the email notice subject does not show up in the forumyet. There is quite a long delay.

I'm pretty sure I know what that is and it's not fatal. I'll look for the cause and fix it.
