A Slippery Slope
Hi all:
I for one apprecieate the effort being made to catalog posts into the different forums.
The reason we have an issue here at all is because CarTalk is percieved as the front burner, and the rest is back burner.
I believe that the different forums would get more traffic if people could break the the habit of posting in only the front burner.
If topics were respected, we would be able to go to what our interest was at that moment, and not cull though other posts.
In fact, I would be more apt to look at such posts if i was seeing them by choice.
Anyway, I guess what I'm saying is that the discussion is getting so big that following anything is getting too time consuming. The proper sorting would help - for me at least.
I recognize however, that this is an uphill battle... (not a slippery slope) because people gravitate to the action, and want to be heard by the largest possible number of people.
