What are # of posts needed for each "gear change" level?

I know 250 posts is 2nd gear, when does 3rd, 4th etc. come?

That means I'm redlining 3rd gear soon ... Almost there to the rev limiter, probably another few weeks then I'll be shifting into 4th gear and the rev drops close to idle speed once again for another upshift.
