I'm disappointed really - on a serious note, who makes these decisions?
I found the toronto forums useful for information as well as just hanging out and having a few laughs.
I don't get how the sub-forum can get closed and locked overnight - what were the reasons behind it?

You didn't find it valuable enough to become a member so I question the sincerity of your protest.
meh...on to ottawa we go.
ps - i don't have a membership because I don't find the need to sell items. Thats just me, but I"m sure other had many different reasons to not buy.

Especially since membership doesn't mean just the ability to buy/sell.

If people feel very strongly about Toronto, perhaps someone could take the lead and compile some sort of formal request to be reviewed.
I can't voice my opinion about it being closed down because I don't know enough about why it was.
It was a pretty active forum and whether it was a productive use of the venue or not kind of seems irrelevant if the general consensus within there was that it was useful. On the other hand, this IS an S2000 website and it is expected that non-s2000 related posts would be contained in an Off-Topic forum. Not sure where I stand personally on this whole thing yet...
