Why does search only bring up topics from 2001?

Default Why does search only bring up topics from 2001?
The search is pretty poor. Why is it Last Update Date and not sort by Last Post Date?

I have seen this before. Many times it gives me the newest first bu for certain search words it will come up with the first ones from 2001 no matter how you order the results.

^ Same problem. The first few are recent, but almost everything on page 1 would be from 2001. THEN on page 2, there will be somewhat recent things.

I search s2ki via Google. Works way better.

Enter in Google search box: "search critiera" site:s2ki.com
