Nothing has changed in that regard. What you aren't seeing are other types of ads other than Google's. The ads you see are based largely on where you live. I've added some of the dating sites to the site filters but there are a lot of them. I've emailed my rep at Google to see if there is a way to remove those types of sites completely.

It's not just you who is pissed about them. We make nothing on those ads, nobody clicks them. They are simply taking up space and making the site ugly and cheap looking.
But the dating sites are the only ones I click.

j/k!

So, all we have to do is click it & you make money? I can click one every once in a while, if that's the case. My way of feeling better about being too cheap to throw down for a membership.

*click* There, I clicked an ad. I'm feeling better already!

thought i posted that Firefox with abp will remove / block all ads..

i am sure s2ki will still get the revenue because the google ads are still listed but you wont have to see them because it hides them from view

I've installed IE7PRO which hides the ads so i no longer see them.

I got a load more grief from my wife about why i was looking at asian dating site ads so thought enough was enough.

Seriously.

If my wife spoke to me that way, her PC rights will be taken away

She has no pc rights anway

Problem is she doesn't understand computers, doesn't look at forums and therefore i can understand why she is concerned when she sees me looking at forums with pretty suggestive looking dating ads (some of them were verging on $$$$$$).

Anyway, problem solved for me.

so do members and non-members see the same amount of ads? also do you get money if we just click on them and not actually buy anything? we could all click on a few ads a day and then that would cut back on the number you would need correct?
