Default CAI/Short ram w/ Snorkel/stock box w/snorkel

had a few questions regarding intake systems.

what would be better for my car for performance & sound? CAI? Short ram w/ Snorkel or the stock box w/ Snorkel?

a Short ram intake with snorkel might sound stupid but i was thinkin about sound too

also, is there a big enough difference between intakes made by AEM, K&N, Fujita, etc compared to something that you can find on ebay?

For sound = Short Ram. For performance = Stock set-up.

Also, most generic "made in China" ebay intakes are simply copies of the name brand parts. They often just buy the AEM, K&N, etc. and copy it. So to answer your question, no there is no real difference... except for the filter. But you can always add a K&N or AEM filter to your ebay intake for relatively cheap.

Not sure how much power the snorkel makes, but the K&N FIPK definitely makes power across the power band.

There's a dyno link below the FIPK picture.

Yeah the FIPK definitely makes power over the stock intake. Best intake for the money if not one of the best over all.
