Default HELP on this build! please..

Alright, here we go... I'm 19, and Ive wanted an s2000 for a good 5 years now... I'll be getting a 2002 s2k end of summer, I've got the money to buy it but I've just got alotta shit to do before... Now I know if im goin NA its gonna be expensive as hell but Ive only got a short list... could you tell me if there are better choices to be had, reliability issues, whatever, idc just anything useful... also what gains could i expect to see... Ive got 15k right now, but I live at home, and I go to college for free... and Im single lmao, so ive got no expenses whatsoever...

also I live in florida so no worries with emmisions, and none really with sound....

Mods:

J's header, j's 70fx dual rs exhaust or perhaps the 70rr, 4.77 gears, Jenvey-Toda-or-Hayward ITBs, and J's n1 ecu... Im not so sure about cams though...

please any comments are more than welcome...

Oh and I wanna say thanks to whoever it was that gave me a ride in their silver s2000 in Ybor... If you read this... thank you soooooooo much!

Used Supercharger would be about the same $$ and net you much better results.

I dont have very good selfcontrol lol... I have a maxima right now and its hard enough not to speed, with a beast pushin out what 350hp haha, im ****ed

ITBs you will need a standalone ECU like AEM EMS. And it won't be cheap to tune right.

Get exhaust/intake/tuning device. That way you will be somewhat cost effective HP/$ and sound much better

That will hold you over until or if you get bored and want turbo power. Plus the exhaust and tuning device (Anything but VAFC) can be utilized with a turbo or supercharger. Also think about suspension mods.

ITBs will be less reliable than an SC. Tuning is a constant requirement with aftermarket ITBs unfortunately.

ahhhhh you guys are amazing, but whats so bad about the VAFC... and what are some good options... also with the suspension... if i were to get struts/ties/sways and other body braces, would i need to get coilovers also... when i rode inside it seemed pretty firm...

Ok I am closing this. You really need ot do some research. There are thousands of threads on this information. Search the entire site as this section is fairly new. Also in the future please watch your language on these forums.

VAFC and the N1 ECU will not work
Good luck on your build! Awesome choice of MY.
