Default Buying hardtop kit from local - what all parts do I need

OK, I am buying a hardtop from a local owner who is parting out the car. I have a 2003 with defroster. What all parts do I need to get with it and used?

I have the install sheet from Honda

1) I notice that they list a right and left body catcher as well as left and right trim brushes do I need these or can I make do with the ones on the car?
2) I also assume I need the defroster harness.
3) It lists 2 different roof pillar trims - What are these? Do they go on the hardtop attached?
4) There are also some rubber spacers and cushion tapes

If I cannot get these, can I order them thru the dealer? Does anyone have the part #'s or kno where I can look them up specific to the hardtop. This sheet does not list part #'s

I will also have to get the top painted sebring or berlina black, I am unsure which way to go, but any advice appreciated.

Thanks!

You need 2 side catchers that mount to body.
2 latches that mount to toP to lock it In
Should have the defroster harness
2 rubber square spacers that sits on convertible top frame

That's all I can think off.

Maybe one day, a mod will sticky that thread.... considering it answers 95% of all hardtop related questions.

Thanks all. I hope these parts are available since the hardtop itself is not anymore. From what I heard there are a few NFR hardtops left in the nation. I will be seeing what all I get from the previous owner in a few hours and go from there.

I got the hardtop and 2 catchers. The seller said he has the trim brushes and the defroster harness for me as well. I should be ok, I think. I need to order the 2 rubber pieces from hardtopguy, I think. I cannot find part #'s for them, so I cannot buy from the other sites

How much did you end up paying for the hardtop?

I wouldn't bother with trying to obtain the two rubber spacers, it would be more trouble than its worth. I used two Velcro strips wrapped around the frame ears that accomplish the same thing. These are just cushions theat keep the soft-top from rubbing against bare metal when folded.

Thanks, JackS. Thats good to know. I will see if HTG has them - for 10 bux, doesn't seem bad. I have to order some other stuff, so I will just get it with that if he has them in stock.
