ap1 cluster on Ap2

Default ap1 cluster on Ap2

i have a 05 ap2 but wanting to put the ap1 cluster and ecu so i can rev higher. is there any problems doing this or special procedure? any ideas or advice helps thanks

You can put an AP1 ecu in your car no problem. Except the Immobiliser is built into the ecu. So you will have a problem with that. And very few people know how to bypass it and most all of them wont tell you either.

And just because you can rev higher does not mean you are going to be making power at that level.
You should search.
It has been done before, I did it.
But went back to original ecu because I could tell the loss of power.

PS you cant easily swap the cluster. Plus the cluster has nothing to do with your cars rpms.

Did it occur to you that AP2's might need different maps due to the higher displacement?
