Default Suspension Geometry Correction

Hi guys,

I have a set of fortune auto coilovers on order and will soon be lowering my ap2v1 s2k. I am a design engineer and have a machining back ground and access, so naturally I like to make my own stuff.

I have designed up a set of frt bump steer spacers, solid SR bushings and roll center adjusters. In the near future I will buy a camber kit.

One of my questions for you guys is: How thick should I make my bump steer kit and roll center spacer. I will probably lower my car about 1.5 inches.

Realistically, It depends on how much the car is lowered, but I know I've seen most of the steering rack spacers being 20mm thick. I have yet to make a string calculator to figure out exactly what is needed, but as far as I know ASM and Spoon make them 20mm thick. I have no clue about the roll center adjusters. I've thought about making several different thicknesses so it's just straight up adjustable to whatever is needed.

I was guessing thats how thick the bump steer kit was and my guess for the rca is 12 to 20mm, I think i will do like you said and make multiple sizes.
