Default Bilstein PSS9 Coilovers. Height adjustability

Hello,
I've had my Bilsteins for a while now, and due to the rear wheel offset, and traditional camber setup, I'm getting some rubbing on the rears. I remember when I first set the height, before taking the car for an alignment, that I followed the instructions in the manual to set them at the max height. I also remember thinking it was pretty lowered in the rear at these settings. Now if I raise the rear beyond the prescribed range, will I do any damage to the shocks, and will I hamper their ability to work within their range? If not, I guess I'll just increase the camber. Thanks in advance.

you should be fine raising it. If you raise it so high that you begin to preload the spring then expect a different handling characteristics. A shock should function the same regardless of where it is raised or lowered.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully I'll have some time to get around to it.
