Default Carbotech XP12/10 from XP10/8

Hi guys... kind of a newbie question.

I've went through a set of Carbotech XP10/8 (lasted 5 track days for me) and I am upgrading to XP12/10 pretty soon. Going to run it on the same rotors.... Do I need to bed the new pads and or have the rotors resurfaced?

Thanks!

If they're the regular XP12's and 10's then outgassing them is the only thing needed.
Follow carbotechs bedding process to do this.

yup. rotors are fine because it's generally the same material. but the pads need to be outgassed. i think you can have carbotech do that for you to save time.

Bonus: the pre-bed Carbotechs have more pad material when new.
