I recently replaced my engine in my 2006 S2000 with brand new F22 from Honda so I have the original short block that honda took out for sale. the reason why I replaced the original engine is this original engine overheated and temperature gauge didn't even go up and as a result, it blewed the headgasket and warped the head so Honda decided to replace the whole engine under warranty. Cylinder has scratches but you can still use it, but I would want you to come and see it yourself before you buy this block to make sure. Short block and cams has 28606 miles on it. The short block and stock cams are located in Orange County, California and I prefer local pick up only especially for the short block. I'm asking $750obo for the block(it will come with block, pistons, rods, and crankshaft) and $50 for the stock cams(for intake and exhaust cams, I am only selling as a pair).

Did your Honda mechanic ever disclose why the original engine overheated in the first place?

no they didn't, all they told me was it overheated and they replaced the whole engine. I let my mechanic check out the block and he said its still usable and don't know why Dealer replaced the whole engine.
before any of you guys buy this block, I want you to chek yourself and decide. I'm only selling to people that can come and check this block out in person.
