whats the extra part about this exhaust? I had the R1 on my ap1 but never understood what the extra part meant.

I believe the "Extra" is the resonator design, as this one has an oval resonator. I previously had a very similar Amuse exhaust a few years back and it had the more rectangular "box" shaped resonator. Both had the Helmholtz resonators too. The "Extra" had me baffled for a long time too! lol
