FS:17x9+40 VOLK TE37+255/40/17 RE01R
***SOLD***
17x9+40 Volk TE37 in white with blue stickers and blue valve stems. Tires are new Bridgestone 255/40/17 RE01R
Cosmetically 7/10: Wheels have rock chips here and there, but no curb rash. There was brake dust stain that was cleaned off with rubbing compount. One one of the wheels required removal of the clear coat on a small section of the lip (roughly 2 square inches). The stickers on the faces are in tact. The stickers on the barrels are faded or gone all together. The barrels still have some brake dust stain, and could be cleaned up some more. I have already spent numerous hours bring these wheels back to the condition they are currently in.
One of the rear wheels has a slight bend. The bend can't be seen unless the wheel is spinning on a balance machine. I have driven on these wheels for months now, including track time and speeds in eccess of 140mph. I have yet to experience any vibrations due to the bend. There is a ever so slight wiggle between 94-98 mph, but I'm not even sure its because of the wheels. My tire guy told me that the majority of the wheels he sees have bends of similar nature and even worse. I have purchased wheels in the past that were less square without being informed buy the seller. I feel it is my responsibility to inform the potential buyer the condition of the wheels.
I am asking $1800 with the tires or $1350 without. I think this price is more than reasonable. These wheels retail for nearly $800 each and are a very desireable spec. Mine are priced well under half of what they retail. I have sold same spec CE's and TE's in not "perfect" condition for well over $2000. The price is a reflection of my need for quick $$ and their condition combined, not the later alone.
I will not separate the tires.
I was quoted $460 to have the bend repaired and to have wheels powder coated any color, by the most reputable wheel repair shop in San Diego. They said the repairs would be no problem. So technically, you can have a like new set of 17x9+40 TE37's in any color you want for well under $2000 or have a set of beater track VOLKS for the price of inferior cast wheels

Thanx for looking.

I cant part with the tires, sorry. The tires will more than likely be mounted today. I will also get pictures up later today. If you have any interest, please speak up because I'm already getting a lot of pms.
