Quick rant about a newer member named Dan aka dtkix.

This seller had an Ap2 exhaust for sale with the UK exhaust mod. I currently have a WTB thread for an AP2 modded exhaust so this was perfect imo. I hit him up within 10 mins of his posting and we confirm that I will buy it of him. Since I know I wouldn't be able to pick it up the same day, I offer to Paypal funds to secure the unit. Well, Dan didn't have a Paypal. After a few texts Dan assures me that he will hold on to the unit for me since he obviously can tell I want it. Now Im a happy camper and I even try to make arrangements with the parents to use our SUV to pick it up the very next day. Well, it was too good to be true and my time and efforts were wasted. Dan ends up selling it to another person for $10 more... I mean c'mon...Times are tough but you really had to be disrespectful over an extra $10? I would've offered you even more had you actually done the right thing and worked with your original buyer.

In all honesty though, I understand if there are bills to pay and such...but don't go and lead people on just so you can waste their time. Its disrespectful.

That's my worst nightmare when negotiating - I had someone did this for $5! So yeah I know how you feel. But you know what, the way I look at it, no matter how much I want the part, if someone is willing to sell their reputation for $5, $10 then that person isn't worth our time.

Sorry Greg that does suck. I guess for some people they don't want to risk lakers and would rather sell it to someone immediately with cash. Still sucks that the seller didn't offer you a chance to beat the buyers offer
