If any of you are in socal make sure you go to autowave for tuning or Maintennance they have A+ customer service and can get anything done at a great price

17122 Gothard Street
Huntington Beach, CA 92647

I've been turbo for almost 3 Years and ever autowave touched my car it has been rock hard solid, trouble free, without any issues

When I first went boost I went to bismoto. The car didnt run super great and I ended killing the motor

I Bought a used ap2 motor bolted my old turbo kit up. (rev-hard manifold, gt3071 .63 a/r) and pulled 300whp on there dyno @ 12psi

Got tired of rev-hard so I bought a full- race manifold, gtx3076 and fullrace downpipe made 436whp @ 16psi

Got the manifold wrapped and fixed my exhaust leaks again I made 464whp @ 16psi

Got retuned again 7/29 installed id1000's, serial gauge blah blah car made 472 @16psi

I'm really happy the car has been rock solid ever since I've taken it there, and I couldn't be happier with the reliability. I hope you guys take them under consideration when you go. There dyno isn't high reading but that doesn't matter I rather dyno low and have a great tune than dyno high and have a mediocre tune

About two weeks after I got my car back from the body shop, I took my car to L*CON. What was suppose to take a week, it turn into almost 3 months. After missing registered car shows, meets, and a registered track event, I finally got my car back last week. Even though it took Louie this long to complete the roll bar, the quality was good. He polished my roll bar and applied a matte clear finish to compensate the long wait of what should of taken a wk or so. Overall the roll bar was nicely done.
Louie told me my roll bar would be the last bar build/fab for the general public. He now works for a Porsche specialty race team.

If I were to do it again, would I go with L*CON ? Yes but only if it was done in a timely manner. Road Race Engineering was my runner up.
Quality work: Yes.
Service? Kinda slow but incentive was completed as promised.

Pics of bar during the initial build.

After completion. Louie text me these pics the night he finished. Overall, it looks nice.

Here are a few pics, more to follow. When I got my car back it was dirty, had some sort of residue, smudges and weird spots. Taken into consideration my car was freshly painted and wet sand, compound, and wax, the paint and color was flawless. I was pretty disappointed at the outcome. I had to clay bar and remove a lot of the stubborn residue with alcohol and terry cloths. I used some of the pics I took for reference, I didn't see any residue or substance on the car. Most of these pics were taken within a 3 month duration. The front bumper did have some residue and the work on the car was done towards the rear. Further more the area of the car where louie worked had no residue or smudges. Louie was hardly at the shop since he had a 9-5 job and his personal issue didn't really permit it. It's just kinda weird how these smudges were on random parts of the car. I just wish people had more consideration.

BALLADE SPORTS!!!!!!!

Louie was also going to have Alex from Ballade Sport do an oil change to compensate for the track event I lost. I also found out that Louie asked Alex if he was going to do an oil change on my car as promised. Alex had my hood open and told Louie, yeah. But when I picked up my car Alex told me he didn't do the oil change. Alex also tried to get diffensive and tried to blame me for my bar taking so long to be completed. He didn't even have his facts straight and still tried to make it seem like it was my fault. I honestly wouldn't take my car to Ballade Sport. I would much rather cut the 3rd party and take my business to the builder, tuner, or another facility that sells performance parts. So to sum it up, Alex lied to Louie, he told Louie he was going to do it and that's why my hood was open. Even though I didn't want a oil change done from a arrogant person he could of at least been straight with Louie. It's the principle

So let me get this right...You are NOT or ever were a customer of BALLADE SPORTS? So why are you giving them a bad review? Because they didn't do free work for you? Or because you just don't like them. Sounds personal and not objective to any good/bad service you received.

NO I DIDN'T WANT FREE WORK FROM HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
IF LOUIE SAID HE WAS GOING TO PAY/TAKE CARE OF IT AND IT WASN'T EVEN DONE THAT SPEAKS ON HONESTY. I EVEN TOLD ALEX I DIDN'T WANT IT DONE BUT LOUIE INSISTED. WHEN I WENT TO THE SHOP TO LOOK AT MY CAR HE GOT A LITTLE ARROGANT. I GO TO MCDONALDS, I'M ABOUT TO ORDER MY MEAL THE PERSON TAKING ORDERS HAS A NEGATIVE ATTITUDE AND IS HOSTILE. I WALK OUT AND DECIDE TO TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSE WERE. POINT I'M TRYING TO MAKE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS BAD EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T PURCHASE OR ORDER ANYTHING. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
I know you're a loyal customer and friend to Alex so I understand why you're sticking up for him. Like I said my personal expierance and others have shared it as well. I'm sure he's had good cliental and all but not everyone has shared the same luxury....

I'm intitel to a feedback right??? So I guess customer service was the main issue. As far as the condition of the car being returned well that's up in the air!!!!! everyone is pointing fingers!!!!!!!!
Hopefully his attitude changes a little. I've been told by some that he can come off as a lil arrogant and i've also heard it from some his friends. He even questioned it before....

+1 for Ballade Sports!

I have gone to Ballade a few times now and each visit has been awesome. The level of customer service is top notch. When you visit the shop, it almost has a Type One sort of feel to it with S2k's in every corner of the shop. lol I have to say that Alex is the first person who i truly trust with my S. From what ive seen, he doesnt cut corners and performs all installs and maintenance the right way. Also, Ive never been pressured into purchasing pointless crap for my car...Alex will make suggestions if you explain the direction your going for in terms of build and its nice to sit back and soak up some of that knowledge. My Ap2 has felt great since taking the car to Ballade and i know it will stay that way. Ballade is my go to shop as long as i have my S and i recommend others check them out too.

List of work ive had done:
Compression Test
Valve Adjustment
Clutch master cylender replace
Innovative Mounts 75A
Wheel Bearing/Hub replaced
Drive shaft spacers installed
K&N filter
Engine, Diff, Trans, Brake fluid flush

Called Ballade today and talked to Alex, awesome guy. Quoted an amazing price, still competitive taking into account the gas to OC from LA.

Going in to their shop tomorrow for a leak-down and compression test. I'll report back here when its done.

Just got back from Ballade. Did both tests, engine was fine. All I needed was a valve adjustment to FIX the shitty job Alhambra Honda did, An now I know why my power was down so much after visiting Alhambra Honda.

GO TO Ballade

Pricing was 1/2 of Evasive. I cant suggest Alex enough.

I agree Ballade is the place to go. They don't try to sell you things you don't need. Alex tells you what the right setup for your needs are. My s2k and I are happy

That reminds me, Alex took the time to actually take me to the car and show me what was wrong and how he was fixing it. He also educated me on other preventative maintenance options that are available to me, without pressuring me into something. Incredible
