I have a pair of OEM AP2 tail lights with the hardtopguy installation kit (to use on an AP1) for sale. I tried installing this on my car but all I had were some non-electric hand shears which made the installation impossible. Therefore there are some wear marks on the BACK of the tail lights and the install kit might seem like it was used but I bought both brand new. If you have the tools necessary to do the swap, I think this is a great add on for an AP1.
