No unless you're buying a low end aftermarket suspension. (Obvious answer)

But it is better than regular S2000 suspension, even if slightly.

Actually according to modified mag, testing at buttonwillow showed it's a lot better, not slightly better. Going from ~2:12 to ~2:06 by upgrading to a CR suspension is a huge difference. Plus, it is VERY daily drivable.

Many of these are not low end, but very expensive coil overs. Obviously it is hard to make a perfect comparison, but even ignoring all of the other results and just dropping from 2:12 to 2:06 with a quick suspension upgrade is huge.

Lol CR > Moton, Ohlins, J's racing too apparently. And J's racing suspension is what the record holding car at bw uses in mod class - lol.

Yeah, I would use this more to compare stock suspension to CR suspension.

A stock S2K w/ street tires running ~2:12 seems about right. 2:06 by just dropping out the shocks/springs is a very solid improvement.

Anywho, CR rides very nice and is very capable I know there are better setups out there.

nice stats on the CR suspension times

If the performance is up to par with those other aftermarket setups, it's a worthy purchase. Just don't know how many people would pay 1k for "OEM" (albiet a special OEM) product.

that doesn't tell you anything ... because some cars didn't have a wing.. and every cars had different mods, different bodykit (aero)...

I think the cr time drop is not just from stiffer suspension, but also an aero dynamic improvement to accommodate it. I still want a set of these bad boys!
